Elke Vogelsang aka “Wieselblitz” – Commercial pet photographer

Introduction: born 1972, living in Hildesheim, Germany, working worldwide, commercial and editorial photographer specializing in pet portraiture. Proudly owned by three Spanish rescued mutts (Scout and Ioli as well as Noodles forever in our hearts), the real stars here. Photography is not only my job, it’s my hobby gone wild, my daily creative outlet and, next to the dogs, my favourite pastime.

For the background story on how our dogs saved our lives and changed our lives for the better, read our story here.

With a model database of more than 100 dogs and cats I offer commercial and editorial pet photography on a commissioned basis. And with a pet picture database of more than 3000 funny, character-filled images, I might already have what you are looking for.

For bookings or licensing requests, please contact info@elkevogelsang.com.

I’m the author the books “Nice Nosing You”, published by Hardie Grant, London, 2015, and “Workshop Hundefotografie”, published by Schlütersche Verlagsgesellschaft, 2021, as well as numerous articles about photography.

You can hire me as a speaker for your photography event. With numerous talks and workshops in the UK, USA, Austria, Germany, and Italy that I’ve done in the past, I have a variety of interesting topics regarding the business and fun of photography for your audience. I’m fluent in English, German and Spanish.
