With Alfonso’s arrival, I have revived something that has rekindled my motivation for photography not only as a job, but (nearly more importantly) as a hobby. I create his pictures entirely in the camera. No post-processing. I use the various film simulations my Fujifilm camera offers, and settings such as saturation, grain, white balance, tonal values, colour shifts, etc., all of which I can adjust in the camera itself. I can save these settings and select them depending on the situation and whatever mood I would like to create, then just start shooting. This means I no longer have to sit at the computer for Alfonso’s pictures, which is great for my health and, moreover, I’ve got more time for Alfonso. And it is a great way to enjoy the moment and creating again.
